Additional Peace of Mind Thoughts

Additional Peace of Mind Thoughts

This is test to see how fast I can write regarding “peace of mind.”  You know having peace of mind allows you to do much more during the day.  Imagine not having to worry about what’s coming next or how good you will be in your career, family life, finances, health, etc.  Knowing that these aspects of life always work out on their own is what peace of mind consists of.

Peace of mind for your career entails the natural inclination and desire to work during the day.  We all yearn to be working on a project or creating something during the day.  This desire is a natural human need; we all want to be busy doing something.  Peace of mind and career work entails following your passions and doing what you love each day versus working only to pay the bills.  There’s a big difference between the two.

Family life and peace of mind covers all aspects of life within a home – from raising kids, to being a best friend companion to your spouse.  Do you have worry and doubt during the day regarding your family and loved ones? How about yourself?  I’m including the worry about yourself discussion under the family section because if you are at peace with yourself, you’ll be able to be at more ease and comfort with your family.  Peace of mind starts with ourselves and everything we do during our days.

Finance and peace of mind is one of the greatest secrets of the wealthiest individuals in the world.  They haven proven that not being worried about the fears and worries of financial markets they can outlast the downturns, make successful decisions and even make a profit while everyone else is losing money.

We all want good health.  Did you know that stress and irritability can encourage the body to seek sickness as a way to get you to slow down and notice that you’re living a life full of discomfort?  Peace of mind directly correlates to good health and overall well-being.  That’s why in hospitals, especially the rooms built for kids, are encompassed with fun, uplifting colors and designs that cause the mind to be a peace and eager to feel good.

Many people meditate or have some private time during the day to help them gain peace of mind.  It’s a process that needs to be developed.  Just like any other habit that developed over repetitive use, creating long-lasting and ever present peace of mind requires some work.  But the work actually becomes enjoyable and rewarding.  It becomes the type of work that you enjoy performing.

The Science of Getting Rich, by Wallace Wattles is an old text recently converted to online and is widely considered one of the most popular self help ebooks today.  Wattles shares his views on how wealth and success is actual a real science dictated by certain laws.  This is one of the few self help ebooks that are free in most places.  All you need to do is download it.

A Happy Pocket Full of Money, by David Cameron is unique compared to other self help ebooks.  It’s a firsthand experience into some new information not normally thought of or known to exist.  Cameron explores the scientific side of our thoughts and how through physics they really do manifest into our visible world.

Self help ebooks can also contain worthless information.  Amazon’s Kindle sells thousands of self help ebooks through its digital reader.  It’s easy to use and their database of authors is immense.  The prices for Kindle are coming down as it’s been on the market for a few years. We recommend you take a look and see if the product would be useful to you.  But just make sure that you don’t jump in and start buying random self help ebooks as previously mentioned, some are worthless.

The best way to tell if self help ebooks are worthwhile is to first search out a subject that interests you.  From there, do a search on the author.  If the author is reputable there will be plenty of information and more importantly reviews on the author’s work.

The Influence Of Uplifting Music

The Influence Of Uplifting Music

Have you ever felt the influence of uplifting music?  It’s the music that you don’t normally listen to on a frequent basis, the type of music that subtly makes you calm and relaxed.  Uplifting music is not generally enjoyed by the younger generations of America.  These age groups are more interested in fast pace, quick beats, and energetic sounds.  Some of the most common genres being listened to today include: Trance, Techno, Hip Hop, Rock, Dance, Alternative, and Pop.

Being in my early 30’s, I’m somewhat in the gap between younger-aged America and middle-aged America.  I feel like I’m crossing music generations lately. I feel more interested in music that assists me more in accomplishing my daily tasks. I find that I like uplifting music in the morning half of the day, and dance music in the later half.

So each morning I’ve been filling it with uplifting music, it really makes a difference in my ability to focus and work through difficult tasks at work.  I think most of us know what causes stress in our lives. One trick to overcome this stress is to let yourself be influenced by different forms of uplifting music. Below are some popular uplifting music genres:

New Age, Natures Sounds, Ambient, Classical, Religious, and Meditation.

It’s easy to find and listen to uplifting music.  I’m fond of AOL’s radio player. It has almost every type of music imaginable. There are plenty of stations that play soothing music.  I would recommend you give it a try sometime.

At first it may be a huge “culture shock” when you listen to music that’s outside of your normal interests.  But with time, you’ll begin to see the benefits of uplifting music in your life.

Benefits of Uplifting Music:

The first benefit is an increased ability to focus on the task at hand.  The music becomes a soft background noise that works like a power source for the mind by feeding it will smooth rhythms and sounds.  Studies show that the mind actually works better when it is fed a good peaceful rhythm of  music.

The second benefit is a greater sense of peace in your life. Everyone in the world naturally yearns for peace in their lives. Music is one of the most influential form of creating peace and a sense of well-being.

Lastly, uplifting music creates a state of mind that allows for inspiration to flow into your thoughts.  If you’re ever faced with a tough decision, sit back for 20-30 minutes and listen to some peaceful tunes.  You’ll be amazed what will happen.  More likely than not, a solution will come to mind causing you to feel grateful and rewarded.

So give it a try. Tonight, or whenever you’re alone, allow some uplifting music to ring in your ears!

To your success!

Get Focused To Get More Done

Get Focused To Get More Done

We all know the feeling of being tired and unable to think straight or pay attention at work. It’s the moments when you feel like screaming inside, “Get Focused!”

Most people feel this way each Monday morning after a long relaxing weekend doing the things you love. Now you have to enter work and do the things you don’t enjoy that much.

It isn’t hard to get focused during any moment of the day.  We list some helpful ideas to help you get focused again at work.

The first thing to do is take inventory on what you are feeling and why. List the emotions and thoughts that are going through your head that are causing you to feel lost with a lack of control. Be specific. For example, “I don’t like our Monday morning meetings because I never have enough time to prepare for it,” or “I never have time to answer my emails, and I’m nervous I’m not paying enough attention to my clients.”

Being honest with yourself on what’s causing to feel unfocused, will make the next step even more fruitful.

The next step is to make a “to do” list of all the things that needs to be done within the next 15 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, and by the end of the day.  If you like you can even plan out your whole week.  So at any given moment you know what is coming next, and what you should be working on.  This “to do” list will become a strong ally to not only get focused but to remain attentive and productive.

Many individuals actually call their “to do” list as their “get focused” list, as states the end result for creating the list in the first place.

Once you know what needs to be done, now is the time to figure out what resources are needed to complete everything. Will you need help from other people, and will you be dependant on technology or other factors? Knowing this will help you to create an actionable plan that involves all pieces of the puzzle.

To get focused and to remain that level of mental calmness will always require a plan and a habitual way of doing things. Getting in the habit to get focused each morning will make you day at work and at home a lot more peaceful and productive.

May you have fun enjoyable day at work, knowing that you can get focused whenever you need to.

Peace of Mind

Peace of Mind

Peace of Mind Discussion and Tips

Almost everyone these days would enjoy having some peace of mind in their lives.  Each would say that peace of mind would come from being able to leave behind their current challenges, problems, and worries, thus being able to taste some inner freedom and sense of calmness.

So what is peace of mind? It can be defined as an inner state of calmness, tranquility, and a deep sense of freedom.  These peace of mind feelings can only exist when there is no fear, stress, tiredness, and worry.  Today, having a peace of mind can be a very hard thing to experience.  Most people only feel it seldomly throughout their lives, while relaxing and reading a book, enjoying an uplifting television program, or being with someone you love.

Another example of peace of mind would be the feelings you experience when you are on vacation. During this time, the concerns of work, bills, appointments, and such are dissolved, leaving you calm and at rest.

The question then becomes how to allow more peace of mind into you life right now.  And from there begin to experience the same even during troubling times, and moments of great concern.  Some may say this last statement is contrary, but you’d be amazed how many people can actually face very difficult situations with a peaceful mindset, and overcome all hurdles placed before them.  The question is, how to bring more peace of mind into our life, and more importantly, how to experience it in times of trouble. It could also be asked whether it’s possible to make it a habit, and experience peace of mind in every moment of the day.

The first thing to do will be to draw more instances of peace of mind into your daily activities.  By doing so, you’ll begin to treasure those moments and create a desire to experience them even more.  This will lead to a good habit being formed that will eventually become a routine.  Peace of mind will then become a constant companion even during trying circumstances.

Below are some tips that can promote peace of mind during your day.

1)      Limit the amount of television and viewing of the daily news.

2)      Avoid negative conversations where pessimism is a constant theme.

3)      Learn to forgive, and let go of past grudges.

4)      Be patient with yourself.  Even the most successful feel irritation and displeasure during the day.

5)      Have fun, and don’t take yourself too seriously.

6)      Dedicate time each day for meditation or quiet thought.

Peace of mind can be a daily comfort and even a way of life for you.  It begins by doing the little things that make you feel at ease and able to relax. From there, its all about creating good habits that reinforce the peace of mind state all of us yearn for.

We recommend sharing this information with your close friends and family.  We can all enjoy and benefit even more from some additional peace.

Mind Power Will Dictate Your Success

Mind Power Will Dictate Your Success

The word mind power may be very new to most readers. Here we will discuss the foundations of mind power. The first thing to know is that all of our physical reality is made up of energy vibrations. This includes the thoughts you generate each second of the day.  These statements are not new and have been researched and discussed by the scientific community for decades now.  Mind power is the directed use of our thoughts in creating the physical reality of our choosing.  Your thoughts have an intense influence on how you create and enjoy the world around you. To know and apply this knowledge is of great value.

Most of the world travels throughout life unaware of the impact mind power is having on their lives.  Mind power is being consciously aware to the thoughts and emotions being generated from within your brain.  Noticing what you dislike, fear, enjoy, hate, love etc, is the first step to being able to access your full mind power potential. By creating the ability to recognize these and all other thought patterns taking place each day, you will begin to see that much of your outer world, which includes work, fun, family, friends, money, and more is directly correlated to your predominant thought patterns.

Mind power then becomes the dedicated focusing of your thoughts toward a desired goal.  Simply said, what your think about, you bring about.  If you constantly think about failure then that’s what you end up creating. If you constantly think about success, than you will bring success in to your life.

Understanding these mind power basics can open up great possibilities for your future.  If you want to change current circumstances, than you must look at what is causing them.  Most people will first blame outside conditions, saying things are out of their control.

Those aware of mind power will look within first to see what they have been thinking over time. They ask themselves, what habitual thoughts created the present experiences? It’s impossible to think both positive and negative thoughts at the same time.  One will either dominate. Unfortunately, for most people and society as a whole the negative thoughts are usually in control.  So it becomes an individual responsibility to watch their thinking thought the day.

At first, mind power seems like an overwhelming process, but with practice it becomes easier.  Step by step, at the rate of which your guide your thoughts, mind power will become a dominant force in your life.

Implementing these foundational mind power insights can be the key to changing your life and becoming more successful and happy.  Take the challenge and watch what you think for the next 60 seconds.  From there, see if you can watch your thoughts for 6 minutes.  It will be difficult, but you will begin to see eye-opening forces that are dictating your outer world.  Have fun with mind power!

Memory Techniques Begin With Mnemonics

Memory Techniques Begin With Mnemonics

Today, there are many new and innovative memory techniques being used by the bright and successful to accomplish more in their lives. In this article we will first learn the memory techniques themselves. Then we will discuss out to use them to remember all sorts of things.

As with other self improvement tools, the more practice and attention you give to these techniques, the greater your success will be.  Below we will discuss the memory techniques used by stage performers.  With dedicated effort, you too can boost your memory techniques to a level you’ve never felt before.

When talking about memory techniques, the word ‘Mnemonic’ is often used.  Mnemonics are memory techniques for recalling information that is difficult to recall.  The idea with using mnemonics is to encode hard-to-remember information in a way that easy to remember.

Our minds have evolved to interpret intense stimuli such as colors, sounds, tastes, smells, touch, feelings, forms, structures, languages, and more.  These stimuli are used to create memories and interpretations of the world we live in.

Sadly, most of the information we are required to remember is always presented differently as words on a document. Most of the time we can interpret and remember written words, but other mediums of information isn’t do readily remembered.

The main idea to improving your memory techniques is to code the incoming information by using vivid mental images that are more easily remembered within the mind.  This is what mnemonics is all about

Below are some memory techniques to make your mnemonics more influential:

Use uplifting, calm images. Your brain will often reject unpleasant images.

Use vivid, bright, colorful images, as these are easier to remember.

Make sure to use all of your senses to encode information into your mind. Mnemonic memory techniques use all of the senses to retain information.

Give your images multi-dimensions including movement and space.

Over emphasis the important parts of an image.

Use humor and comedy. Funny things are some of the easiest to remember.

Additionally, crude items are always hard to forget.

Memory techniques can be an advance process for most individuals.  Most of the commentary above will not make sense to the general public.  But for those interested in continuing to improve their memory techniques, the content will help them take the first step.  Imagine being able to remember more of the discussions that take place each day.  By applying the currently taught memory techniques, you’ll be able to not only impress yourself, but also impress all those around you.

Life Coaches Make the Impossible Become Reality

Life Coaches Make the Impossible Become Reality

Did you know?  Many of the Presidents of the United States have used a life coach either before or during their presidencies.

Life coaches or life coaching is a process of guiding, teaching, and mentoring a person, or group of individuals with the purpose of achieving some goal or to develop a specific talents and skills.  There are multiple methods, types, and ways that life coaches interact and work with their clients.  Instruction includes: motivational speaking, seminars, workshops, tutorials, phone calls, in-house visits, and more.

Life coaches are in the business and practice of helping their clients determine and achieve their personal goals.  Life coaches use many teaching styles to assist individuals in setting up processes and habits that will trigger beneficial results.  Life coaches are not trained nor target psychological work or illnesses.  Certified doctors are recommended for this type of work.

Become a Life Coach and Earn Big Money

The use of life coaches began in the corporate world with executive coaching, which itself uses tactics created in management consulting firms during the early 20th century.  Life coaches receive inspiration from foundations or disciplines in sociology, adult development, psychology, career counseling, and mentoring.  A life coach may apply value assessment and behavior changing methods to help their students overcome and achieve great goals.

According to a survey of clients using life coaches, a wide majority reported that their experience with this type of mentoring program produced fabulous results, and that they felt a strong connection to their instructor.  The survey showed that most growth within the coaching industry has been through referrals, which demonstrates the effectiveness of using a support individual for manifesting personal interests.  The top areas of interest for students is: career, entrepreneurship, relationships, and money.

Presently, there are two Life Coaches organizations: The International Coaching Council (ICC) and the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC).  These organizations provide a membership association for persons actively involved in coaching. They groups also work to accredit life coaching as a whole by implementing standards and accountability.

Working with a life coach can be a challenging experience, as they will help you expose limiting beliefs and habits that are limiting you from reaching your desires.  Many have said that this part of the coaching experience can be quite stressful.  This is because the student is having to reprogram the mind and body to overcome decades of habits and thought patterns.  But once this difficult process is passed, the rewards begin to show.

Most life coaches are matched to their clients using an extensive question and answer session to determining common interests and personality matches.  This helps to create a stronger bond between the two parties, and thus more ability to generate solid results.

In the end, it is the responsibility of the student to achieve their own success.  Life coaches are only a support system for making this happen.  Therefore, all mentors never promise exact results. They only promise to work as hard as you do.

Getting “Unstuck,” Does your life need a coach?

A Life in the Day of a Life Coach

Questions:

1)      What are the differences between life coaching, business coaching, and personal coaching?

2)      What are is the range of costs for working with a life coach?

3)      Do life coaches share the same experiences and struggles that everyone else does?  Give examples.

Application:

1)      Visit mylifecoach.com and findyourcoach.com and explore through the information provided. Get a feel for your interest in hiring a coach.

2)      Now write down your honest thoughts about hiring a coach.  Recognize if there is any uncertainty or pride when thinking about it. Most people end up never hiring a coach as they’re too prideful to ask for help.  These same people waste many years in learning how to be successful and earn more money.

3)      If you feel it is the right thing to do, act on it and hire a coach.  Follow the guidelines listed in the CNN articles and the two websites above.

4)      If you feel it isn’t the right thing to do at this moment, keep this information on hand for future reference, and remember that coaches are making many people become wealthy these days.  So when your time is right, give a coach an opportunity to guide you along the way.  Sign up for the newsletter offered in mylifecoach.com.
