I’m starting to experience first hand the importance of having a schedule in my life. I notice that the more I write my tasks / daily responsibilities on paper, the more often I do them and have a productive day.
This weekend I’ve written down a weekly outline of what I envision my schedule each day to be. This way I’m putting down on paper, and at the same time deep in to my mind, the things that I would like to do each day.
I’m working to create the habit of following a schedule so that I can get as much done during each day, and thus accomplish my goals a lot easier and faster.
To be honest though, it was a big mental roadblock to even want to sit down and put a schedule in place. It’s amazing how tough we are in trying to change ourselves for the better. It’s like we don’t want to let go of our current easy way of doing things. But as all successful individuals will say, success is hard work.
If we can accept that and be willing not to judge ourselves for not being good enough, and to let ourselves move at our own pace, then we can peacefully change our way of thinking and begin to see change in out outer world as well.
Back to my schedule, it’s still be revised, even today. Something just doesn’t seem right just yet. So I’ll continue to tweak it until it feels perfect.
Just the act of writing things down each day is bringing great rewards. It’s like a little miracle takes place in your life once you start writing things down on paper. I would recommend it.
Buy a notebook or journal and take some time each day to write down your goals and dreams in life, also write down the things that are bugging you. You’ll see that it becomes therapy to just be honest with yourself by writing down your genuine feelings and outlook for life.
To your success!
